Want new Pc-.-

I'm currently thinking about a new pc, while writing this on the old computerO.o
The reason is because this one is becoming old as I have noticed...it have been slower, the memory isn't that good compared to these new computersT.T and the worst thing is that the screen isn't that sharp anymore! I have to adjust the screen several times to get the right colour and contrast that I want, imagine when editing photos or working with drawingsT.T It makes me uncertain on how the colours will look on other computers=S and that it may ruin the whole piece!

On the other side, I don't want a new computer because I have all the softwares in this one and I'm uncertain if they will work on the new one...can't live without Sai and photoshop;) and to be honest, I like Windows vista betterxD

Oh well, maybe I have to wait after new years eve to buy one on salexD I know, I'm cheap, but hey, who said that students are moneymakers!

At the umbrella shop

Place: Hangzhou

Shot this in a Chinese souvenir shop. These umbrellas are commonly seen in those shops and they're very cute and pretty, but you can't use them in the rain=P I think this shot is interesting because it shows alot of different umbrellas and dolls by the side...a kind of vintage shop feel^^

I sharpened the colours and made it ''warmer'' by reducing the cold hues abit.

I miss Love

Took this in summer when we were fixing up the rooms. Thought it was a good idea, since the room was empty without all the furniture fuss. I used self timer since none of my family members wanted to help me-.- I know, they're cruel-.-

Actually, I come up with this concept when I was editing the picture=S I thought it would be nice to have something on the wall, and thought of things which is important for everyone. The first idea I came up with was something related to hope...but I couldn't come up with a good quote, so I decided to try with love=P And it suited the shot much better, because it shows a person (me=P) striving and reaching when writing...and so I came up with the concept of missing love.
A person who miss a lovelife in their everyday life, and therefore by writing it out, maybe the love will finally ''see and hear'' it...and resulting in finding the love the person is missing.

I like this shot alot and therefore I'm very happy that this is my first ever, most viewed Da piece on my gallery on Deviant^^ I was so surprised when I saw the total amount of views=O I have never got that much views before so this was unussual for me^^
Nevertheless, I'm happy, so I'm going to work harder from now on to bring out my best creativity^.^Unfortunately, I had to write it digitaly because my parents wouldn't be mad happy if I wrote it on the newly painted wallo.O

Baby blue flower

Shot this in China^^ Sharpened it in photoshop;)

I love the light blue colour on this flower, and it suits well with the pink and orange colour. Ads contrast to the colours.

My camera=)

I love my camera, so what better is it to make a picture to commemorate itxD
I'm quite satisfied with how this turned out=D Looks like a commercial and the colours are sharp;)

As you probably know, I love sharp pictures with vivid colours, but seems like I'm never able to achieve it compared to the other, so I searched high and low for some tips and tutorials, and so..I found a couple^^


Tried them out, and here's the result. So what do you think?? 
I have to practice more, but I'm certainly getting hang of it:-P
and improving on learning photoshop tricks;)

Earned some new photoshop skillzxD

Or can't call it skillz because I'm not that good, but I have finally learned some new useful tricks that I can use to make my pictures better^^And I'm satisfied. Now I can:
- Sharpen photos and make it more natural looking
- Smoothen skin
- Sharpen colours
- Sharpen specific parts on a picture <--Very useful!


And I think these are the most important things which can improve a picture alot.

I love holidays because...it gives me so much time to do things that I haven't got time to do while studying^^

I'm currently on deviantArt and must say that the members there never stops to amaze me=O There are so many talentful artist, each with their own cool style! Whenever I'm there, I can spend hours just browsing through the different masterpieces and finding inspiration.

They inspires me to draw and take pictures. Trying to come up with my own style! Hope I too, find it someday^.^

Between, I have learnt some new, awesome photoshop skills, and thus I have spent hours with editing my pictures the last daysxD And it's addicting, knowing that you can change your pictures sooo drasticallyo.0

I uploaded one of my favourte picture, which I will write about later...=)

It have been awhile since I have created some art, and I really miss it;( But I guess I don't have any time for it anywhere sooner, school is taking up much of the time and with all the exams nearing...=(

Macbook Pro!

I have gotten me a Macbook Pro=D I'm so happy^^
Well, I'm not used to it yet, because I have just used Pc's and mac does have a different systemxD But nya, this doesn't mean that I'm going to neglect my Macbook...I think it is the other way around...it seems like my old pc isn't functioning like it should compared to it's younger daysT.T 

The battery dies as quickly as I turn it on, that is why I bought this Macbook because I have to bring it with me to the college. The other reason is that Macbook is much lighter than a pcxD So now it is farewell to those days when I had to bring with me a big, hideous shoulder bag everytime I had to bring with me my pc-.- 


But the odd thing, is that the screen on my pc is behaving suspicious, it's blinking and blinking and the lightness is kind of dark=S This started for one week ago but I didn't took great notice of it and thought that it was nothing big problem-.- I hope it is not indicating that it is going to die, because I have no intention of buying a new pc... And the Macbook is primarily for school use and Deviant surfing=D Yeah, I can browse on Deviant now without the internet connection dieing on me>.<


Now I'm waiting for the Macbook to use up all it's battery so I can calibrate it...and it takes some time yes, it is still 2h and 30 min again...

1st acrylic painting

As I have written about earlier about the acylic paints, here is my first painting! 
Painted this at the same day when I bought the paint. I had much fun and realized that it has been awhile since I have used paint. I think the last time was in middle schoolxD 
But of course, my expectations about painting mediums is the same. It is not easy! Oh, how I wish that it was easy as using colour pencilsT.T I adore those who can use these painting mediums(oil, acrylic, watercolours) and create faboulous art! Guess it takes some time to be used to it, like all other things-.-

 However, this doesn't mean that I am never going to touch an acrylic tube again, heheh...
Just wishing that someday, someday I might manage to control itxD

Art shopping=D

Last thursday I went on art shopping^^ It has been awhile, I think my latest art shopping was in JunexD

I love going on art shopping, as much as I like shopping for clothes, shoes etc.=P

Like to look for new art tools and trying it out:P Well, my latest bought was acrylic paints and Derwent Eraser pencils! How cool is that, I don't need to stress over my fingers making awful prints on the paper:

I haven't yet tested out the eraser, but I hope it is as useful as it seems and not any plastic useless eraser>.< About my motif for buying the acrylic paint, is that I want to paint something which we may have it up in the living room etc. I was with my mum looking for a nice walldecoration painting, but the price was =O Paintings are expensive! And with the cost of a painting by another artist, I could by alot of art tools and try it out and paint my own art for decorationxD So I want to give it a try, although I'm not sure if I will make it=S

My Inspiration Sources

Decided to show you some of the books that I like to use when looking for inspiration and helpful tips^^ I bought this when I was in London! So happy that I found them, especially the Gothic & Lolita bible, after reading it online. It is nice to own a one for yourself=D
Unfortunately they don't have these kind of books here-.- Why must all the thing that I want get to other countriesT.T

The ComickersArt is one of my favourite art books because it have many artworks and illustrations + artist interviews. I have just one book from this serie, because the other one didn't appeal to me that much...so do you have any favourite art/inspirational books^^

Too many pictures!

I found out that I have too many pics which I have taken in China during the holiday, but too little time to work on them...but I promise, sooner or later I will run them on photoshop! Just give me time, with the job and a whole new school study which I am going to start on from the next weeko.O I'm nervous and at the same time excited! Wish me luck<3

So slow.....!

Today I used almost half of my day with digital painting! And I'm not even halfwayT.T Guess that's the problem being a newbie to digital tools for creating art=/ A pics of what I'm currently working on:

Realistic try!

I dag kjøpte jeg meg en ny type tegnepapir, Bristol Board, etter å ha blitt inspirert av tegningene til KLSADAKO på Deviant. Blyantstrekene på tegningene hans ser veldig myke ut. Han brukte disse tegnepapirene så jeg bestemte meg for å teste det ut. Og nei, jeg tror ikke at jeg klarer å tegne like bra som han bare fordi jeg bruker samme arktypexD Men inspirert er jeg ihvertfall;-) Arkene er veldig glatte, så jeg tror det vil gå fint å bruke de til mangategninger og fargelegging hvis det skulle vise seg at jeg failer i portrettkategorienT.T


So.. here I am, trying to draw realistic! And I must say I was very inspired and determined to do it right, but then again, I failed (again) T.T
I managed to draw a face, but somehow, it ended up looking like a totally different person than the model I used=O I was trying to draw Koike Teppei^^ but when I finished the eyes, nose and mouth and I looked satisfying at my drawing, I was hit by shock! The person on the paper looked like Zac Efron! Wt..?!How could this happen? Koike Teppei  Zac Efron? There are no similarities between those two, but miraculously I must have drawn the wrong person all the way, without knowing it=S Comical, yesxD And it has happened before, when I was trying to draw Maki Horikita and it ended up looking a different unknown girlo.O
Not sure where the problem lies. Blame it on my bad eyes! Maybe I have calculated the facial proportions wrong, although it is different to find out how large the space between the eyes has to be, or the nose=S And I used a ruler! Try it yourself if you don’t believe me! Fortunately, I corrected my drawing so it now looks less Zacish and more…another person^^ And I have to admit that I’m pleased with the finished results=D, although it isn’t Teppei T.T

Anyway, I am not going to cut realistic drawing! It’s fun with challenges and who knows, one day I might manage to draw a portrait of my favourite artists;-) As it says, practice makes perfect! *thinks back to the past when I couldn’t draw properly manga characters-.-
