Watercolor practice, camera.

Started with watercolor again because I finally got time^^ and inspiration. 

I decided to use my Canon XSi as model. Spent about 1 1/2 hour on the painting. Since this is kind of a simplified version of the real thing, there might as well be mistakes. But I don't care since I was not trying to do a realistic style painting. 

The watercolor splashes are done in photoshop. Yay, I learned how to use custom made brushes, and was glad that it also works on photoshop elements 4:D I'm definitely going to try to use more brushes now on for my artworks and photos.

Warm memories

Shot this in summer, back in China from my grandparents garden. Decided to upload this now because it brings back the good memories from the vacation AND the memories of the nice, hot weather. It have been snowing more here lately, and the air is becoming more chillingT.T I don't tolerate coldness very well...

Oh, Lola!

This might be a little late post, but I'm posting it anywayxD

I got this Oh, Lola perfume by Marc Jacobs from mum for Christmas. 

It also came with a mini bottle and lotion.

I decided to use this pretty bottle to practice my watercolour with and here's the finished drawing:

William the Rabbit

The rabbit's name is William^^ A friend gave it to my sister. It's so cute and fluffy! Unfortunately, William left us 17.7.11 =(

Rainbow - A parrot

This is my newest upload to Deviant:D 
I like this picture, because of the vivid colours from the parrot that I managed to capture. And the parrots' pose/expression which make it able to show the colours:P


Although this picture might look average and nothing special, but I feel that it's the colours that makes the overall picture more interesting^^

I miss Love

Took this in summer when we were fixing up the rooms. Thought it was a good idea, since the room was empty without all the furniture fuss. I used self timer since none of my family members wanted to help me-.- I know, they're cruel-.-

Actually, I come up with this concept when I was editing the picture=S I thought it would be nice to have something on the wall, and thought of things which is important for everyone. The first idea I came up with was something related to hope...but I couldn't come up with a good quote, so I decided to try with love=P And it suited the shot much better, because it shows a person (me=P) striving and reaching when writing...and so I came up with the concept of missing love.
A person who miss a lovelife in their everyday life, and therefore by writing it out, maybe the love will finally ''see and hear'' it...and resulting in finding the love the person is missing.

I like this shot alot and therefore I'm very happy that this is my first ever, most viewed Da piece on my gallery on Deviant^^ I was so surprised when I saw the total amount of views=O I have never got that much views before so this was unussual for me^^
Nevertheless, I'm happy, so I'm going to work harder from now on to bring out my best creativity^.^Unfortunately, I had to write it digitaly because my parents wouldn't be mad happy if I wrote it on the newly painted wallo.O
